Long-time genealogist and Family Tree Magazine contributing editor Nancy Hendrickson wrote Finding Your Roots Online (Betterway Books). She’s a freelance writer in San Diego, but her roots lie all over the United States.
Nancy is an expert in internet genealogy, using her experience to help fellow genealogists find their ancestors online. Her interest in preserving family history began in childhood, when she spent time with her grandmothers. Both were avid storytellers and regaled her with tales of wagon trains, Civil War battles, Indians and prairie fires.
